  • Produce timely and accurate financial statements and investment performance reports for all entities administered by the office as well as for each beneficiary and beneficiary group
  • Produce timely estimated valuations of all portfolio holdings by entity for portfolio management and risk management purposes
  • Prepare financial statements for quarterly Board meetings for the firm, and family foundations
  • Responsible for all tax preparation and regulatory filings and associated issues and audits for administered entities
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers and vendors
  • Perform financial and tax analysis in support of investment, financial, tax or estate planning tasks as requested by the investment committee or the president
  • Manage interactions with all relevant tax and regulatory authorities
  • Produce timely reporting as required by third-party lenders
  • Establish and manage appropriate procedures for assuring the existence, effectiveness of appropriate governing documents and managing administered entities in compliance with such governing documents
  • Establish and manage appropriate procedures for documenting all related party transactions and external transactions
  • Establish, refine and maintain effective internal controls through standardized processes and procedures
  • Prepare entity budgets and forecast cash needs as needed
  • Oversee cash management including intra-family borrowings and external credit facilities
  • Manage appropriate procedures for accounts payable and receivable
  • Hire, manage and train accounting staff as needed


  • Minimum of 10-years experience in a family office and/or alternative investment advisor
  • Strong credentials including CPA
  • Experience with investment and partnership accounting protocol, activity, and review
  • Experience with complex tax returns; inclusive of corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts and foundations
  • Experience with accounting IT systems, processes and databases; experience with Addepar is a plus
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot table experience a plus) , Word and Power Point
