COMPANY INFO:  Well-established Los Angeles based private equity fund

 

DESCRIPTION:

  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of various investor, management and board reports and presentations
  • Coordinate various management committee meetings and action items, attending as needed
  • Liaise with investment professionals regarding investment operations and valuation processes
  • Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors and other third parties
  • Create, maintain and monitor progress with respect to various production calendars
  • Assist accounting teams with distribution processes
  • Prepare and monitor progress with respect to operations and control checklists
  • Maintain investor reporting information on the firm’s portal
  • Prepare fund expense and other fund reports
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of various SEC, SBIC, IRS and other regulatory reports
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • 1 – 3 years of project-oriented or other relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in Excel, Geneva (preferred)
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented, organized, and responsible
  • Self-starter, able to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to multi-task, handle competing deadlines, and work well under pressure
  • Resourceful problem solver
  • Able to work with personnel at all levels
  • Flexible
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
