Company Info: Leading private credit firm with more than $4 billion of capital under management based in New York, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between portfolio managers, finance, compliance and service providers for all portfolio-specific activity and issues, ensuring cross-communication of critical information between departments
  • Daily coordination between custodian, loan agent and fund admin
  • Identify and resolve cash, trade, and position breaks as well as any other open items between NB systems and external sources
  • Oversee trade process including trade booking, confirmation with brokers and loan settlement process (in coordination with Cortland)
  • Escalate aged open items (breaks, unsettled trades) to appropriate parties
  • Ownership and oversight of Private Debt team portfolio management platform to ensure integrity of data, assist with ad-hoc reporting
  • Manage asset facility compliance, borrowing base, payment waterfall Loan agent responsibilities and / or oversight of third party loan agency service
  • Coordinate and assist with overseeing outsource providers and vendors across all relevant functions

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of experience
  • Experience with asset facilities, drawdowns, some idea/knowledge of levarge
  • Bank loan/credit/debt experience
  • 2-4 years in private credit / bank loan space (preferably with exposure to asset based credit facilities and / or Mariana) with hedge fund or asset management operations experience.
  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office and Clearpar, a plus
  • Knowledge of Everest BlackMountain, a plus
  • Direct Lending investment experience, a plus
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel – knowledge of formulas a must (e.g. “vlookup, pivot tables”), Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word
  • Experience working with CLOs, CDOs, Structured debt and various fixed income products a must
  • Understanding of accounting theories and applications as they relate to investment transactions a plus
  • Team-oriented work ethic that includes willingness to help others
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
